And lo, when I woke up this morning, there was snow on the ground…sort of. Some had already melted in the parking areas, leaving maybe half an inch where no one had made tire tracks or footprints in it. Cars left uncovered and unattended were a bit more heavily dumped-on, to the tune of at least an inch covering roofs, windshields, and hoods. The buses and trains, per the Web and local news reports, are moving more or less as they do in snowy conditions (slow and steady, like Aesop’s turtle). And we may — emphasis may — get a bit more snow late tonight.
I may yet try for my movie outing after lunch, but we’ll see.
